Graphic Greetings Thankful

Hello, Lisa here with a little extra DT card...

I've been playing with another of the new Taylored Expressions stamps and made a simple one-layer card.  I used Hero Arts inks and a MFT stamp (not in the shop at the moment) to create the background - I didn't want the colours too strong, so I inked up the stamp, stamped it off on scrap paper and then stamped on the card.  The flower image was water coloured using the Raspberry Jam ink - I just dabbed it on an acrylic block and then picked up the ink with a brush... then painted over it with Wink of Stella for a bit of sparkle!

Thanks for popping in, hope you have a lovely evening :o)

Watercolour background

Hello, happy Monday, Rebecca here with a card that card features a watercolour background made by inking the MFT Wood Plank background with Distress ink and then spraying it with water.

To make the background sing I mounted it on coordinating Doodlebug card and then added a very simple Paper Smooches die cut tag with a die cut negative sentiment.

To finish I add Doodlebug twine, MME enamel dots and of course a bit of Wink of Stella- which is back in stock, yay!!!

Thanks for stopping by today,

Oh Carp!

Happy Saturday everyone :o)

Oh, how I love a good pun... or a bad one - I'm not fussy!

Craft Mojo now stocks Taylored Expressions stamps and dies, and oooooh I love them!  This little set is so much fun, and stamps beautifully too... As usual I've not been able to show it in the photo, but the fish are all painted over with Wink of Stella so they're lovely and shimmery.

The fab papers are from a new Doodlebug pad that doesn't seem to be in the shop yet, but I'll add links as soon as it's been added.

Thanks for popping in, hope you have a lovely evening :o)

You've mooved!

Hello, Rebecca here sharing a card that is in the post as we speak winging its way to Sally, my lovely friend and owner of Craft Mojo, in case you didn't know she and her family have recently relocated to Scottland so I thought it was only right to make them a card to celebrate.

I've used a whole host of products and techniques to make this relatively CAS card........

First of all I used a MFT cloud stencil and embossing paste to create the clouds, which were then sprinkled with distress glitter- I applied the paste in a uneven way to create that "fluffy" look. I also handout a curved piece of Doodlebug paper to create the grass at the bottom of the card.

Next, I used countless Papersmooches sentiment stamps to create the custom sentiment seen here. I used a "you", and a "ve" from love, then "moo" from smooches, the "ve" from love again and finally a "d" from a belated sentiment- all this was achieved by masking the unwanted parts of the sentiment with a Post-it note before applying the ink (not to self- buy a Papersmooches alphabet stamp set to make life easier).

Finally, the easy bit, I stamped and cut out the cute chubby cow and added a die-cut Papersmooches flower which is embellished with a Doodlebug pearl!

Pheweeee, hope that all made sense!

Thanks for stopping by,

Wplus9 happy...

Happy Saturday everyone :o)

I've used lots of dies to make today's card, and one of my favourite colour combos too... I do love yellow and grey together!

This one's for my husband's stepdad - one of those tricky males with no real interests!  I think word dies come in so handy for that sort of card.

Thanks for popping in, hope you have a lovely evening :o)
