Just a note...

Hello everyone...

Vicky here today to share with my card using some gorgeous MFT, Paper Smooches and Doodle bugs goodies.....

I have stamped directly onto my card base with my MFT Linen stamp using my

MFT Hybrid Ink pad in Steel Blue

Die-cut the Gerbera flower and leaves with some gorgeous Doodlebug papers...

and die-cut some Strips using a mix of MFT Horizontal Strips and

Blueprints 2 dies...

added some Doodlebug Sprinkles...

and stamped the Paper Smooches Sentiment  in Black Archival Ink...

Happy Doodle Flowers

Hello everyone :o)

I've been playing with my Jane's Doodles stamps again, along with one of the fab new Happy dies from WPlus9.

I've coloured the flower with copics and then covered it in Wink of Stella - love this stuff, but I wish my photos picked it up better!

Inky Butterflies

Happy Saturday everyone :o)

Today's card is a little bit different for me - I don't often get properly inky, although I do enjoy it... my hands were quite purple by the time this one was finished!

I used Shaded Lilac and Seedless Preserves Distress Inks to make the background.  If you've never done this before it's very easy (but quite messy!)... just splodge the inks onto a craft mat, spray with water, wipe a piece of white card in the puddles and then dry it with a heat gun... I usually repeat this a couple of times until I'm happy with the result, so you need fairly thick card that will cope with the water and heat.

I added some spots using the border stamp from the Doodle Flowers set by Jane's Doodles in Hero Arts Soft Purple ink and the butterflies are from another Jane's Doodles set - the largest one is stamped on the background, and then stamped again and cut out so I could pop the wings up.

Doodle Flowers

Happy Saturday everyone :o)

Lisa here, and I've been playing with a couple of Jane's Doodles stamps for this week's creation...

I've used my favourite sentiment from the Party Time set, and a flower and stem from the Doodle Flowers set... I'm really impressed with how well these stamp - perfect every time :o)
